On May 28, 1997, Lars Ricken scored the 3:1 in the Champions League final for Borussia Dortmund against Juventus Turin just one minute after coming on as a substitute and with his first touch of the ball.

The goal sealed the victory and with it the first Champions League title in BVB's history. To mark the club's 100th anniversary, this goal was voted the goal of the century.
